I met Craig at the Art-a-Whirl festival in the Northeast Minneapolis Art district. I was immediately intrigued with his photography and his old film cameras he had on display in his studio. We started talking just through pure interest in photography. He currently has his studio in the Casket Art building and was displaying his photography work as part of the Art-A-Whirl festival.
Craig got into photography many years ago and like shooting back-ground graphics for desktop wall papers and that was the kindling for starting his interest in photography. Craig shoots with digital and film and currently shoots with a Fujifilm X100S camera but he is also shoots with a Mamiya RZ67 medium format film camera. It’s always fun meeting other fellow photographers, especially those that shoot film. You can check out more of Craigs work over on his site here: http://www.craigvanders.com
